My Zoom Faux Pas

I learned of a troubling Zoom feature during a recent “networking” conference with more than 50 participants. Apparently, the personal chat feature – which allows you to send a private message to other participants – sends the message to EVERYONE when the person you message leaves the conference. This left me red-faced when I accidentally sent a message to everyone stating “Argh. I hate this type of networking event!!! I never would have agreed to participate if I knew what this was going to be. I need this like a hole in the head.” Suffice to say, I made quite an impression. I will not be expecting any referrals from my new friends.

I wonder how many people were secretly thinking the same thing the two afraid to say it?
